Recap of Past Years Events
2011 Event Summary:
Congratulations to the men's overall winner, Sam Holmes, who returned from his 2nd place finish last year, took a comanding lead in the swim and never looked back! And in the women's division, Kathleen Allen successful defended her title from last year!
Another perfect-weather day graced us and our sponsors and volunteers really did an excellent job in supporting all the athletes. We were able to donate to Adaptive Adventures more than $2,000 and
meet our secondary goal of raising awareness for this outstanding charity.
2010 Event Summary: Absolutely perfect weather! mid-high 80s at the start in the cold water and mid-high 70s at the finish. No wind, no rain, no lightning, no clouds! Thanks go out to all the participants, volunteers and sponsors. Lodo's Bar & Grill provided an outstanding post-race dinner again and the second annual Metro Brokers TriathlON Friday was another success! Congratulations to the men's overall winner, Tim Hola, of Highlands Ranch with the winning time of 59:18 and the women's overall winner, Kathleen Allen, with a winning time of 1:06:43.
2009 Event Summary: The weather held and turned out to be nearly perfect for a Friday evening triathlon. Thanks go out to all the participants, volunteers and sponsors. Lodo's Bar & Grill provided an outstanding post-race dinner and the first annual Metro Brokers TriathlON Friday was a monster success! We raised awareness and significant money for Special Olympics Colorado. Congratulations to the men's overall winner, Jimmy Archer, with the winning time of 1:01:37 and the women's overall winner, Sydney Cornell, with a winning time of 1:09:39.
