It's GO TIME!
If you have already registered and want to confirm that you are in fact registered, look for your name here.
If you are gearing up and not sure of what to bring, take a look at this helpful checklist.
If you didn't pick up your packet at Runners Roost, you can get it starting at 4pm at the race. You will need to have a valid photo ID and USAT membership card (if applicable). Then you get your timing chip, body marked, and set up in the transition area.
Each member of a relay team (and there are a bunch this year) has a packet as well but the swim cap, bib, and bike number will only be in the team captain's packet. The swimmer wears the swim cap, the biker uses the bike frame number, and the runner wears the bib. All team members are body marked with the same number and one timing chip is passed among team members during the race. The entire team does NOT need be present to pick up a packet. More detailed instructions will be provided at the race.
Waves: as of right now, it looks like we will have three waves:
Wave A - 6:00pm - men 39 & under and relay teams.
Wave B - 6:03pm - men 40 +
Wave C - 6:06pm - all women
This could change for safety reasons depending on the final count of registrations.
Entrance to Cherry Creek State Park: There is an West and East entrance to the park. The East entrance off of Parker Road is closer to the event site at Smoky Hill Beach, but the West entrance by Cherry Creek High School gives you the opportunity to check out a big portion of the bike course. There is a $9 fee per vehicle to enter the park unless you have an annual park pass so please be prepared so we don't have long lines.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you will receive a reply usually within a couple of hours.
